Approaching the Marina by Boat
Association Island is located southwest of Bass Island, Gull Island
& Lime Barrel Shoal (which has a lighted green buoy). Association
Island has two marinas: the main marina is called the "Olympic Marina"
which has 70 boat slips, and the small marina is called the "GE Marina"
which currently has no boat slips and is currently used for fishing for our
customers. (Plans are underway to install a marina fuel pump in the GE
Marina in the future, date unknown.) There are two man-made openings
to the Olympic Marina, on your port and starboard sides.
For NOAA navigational charts, click here then select
chart #14811 for Chaumont, Henderson and Black River Bays.
The West Entrance to the
Olympic Marina: The green Conference Center and red Black
Catte buildings are landmarks for the west entrance. As you enter
our Olympic Marina, the red Black Catte building will be on your left,
and a small barrier island with trees will be on your right.

The East Entrance to our Olympic Marina: A small barrier
island with trees will be on your left, and a row of RVs will be on your
right. You should also see the beige Clubhouse building straight
ahead (and possible behind RVs).

The Entrance to our GE Marina:
is between two
concrete piers. The white Island House building will be on
your left, and the green Conference Center will be on your right.
Until further notice, boat traffic is not allowed - please do
not enter GE marina; use Olympic Marina instead.
GE Marina currently
does not have any boat slips but will be the future location of a
marina fuel pump, date unknown. It is currently used for
fishing for our customers.

Once you've entered AssociationIsland's Olympic Marina, tie upto a dock and walk to the Island House, the
large white building, to register. Caution:
it is not advisable to enter the marina at night without local
knowledge.
You may approach the marina
under"The Cut" (which is a narrow waterway that goes under our bridge, with
approximately 10'clearance) from Lake Ontario towards Snowshoe/Henderson
Bays - this is an approach that is best left for good weather and those with
local knowledge. The bridge & the "cut"
