We are providing the Approximate Mileage From AIResort to Various Locations (along with brief descriptions), a list of Area Attractions and a list of Area Services.*  This is not an exhaustive list, but one that should be helpful for you to plan what to do during your visit.  Also, be sure to coordinate your plans with our Events Schedule.

• 5 miles to center of Henderson, NY - village with nearest gas/service station, small general store, restaurants & bars, Wehle State Park (one of NY's newest state parks with 1100 acres and 10 miles of hiking/mountain biking trails).

• 6 miles to center of Henderson Harbor, NY - quaint village with restaurants & bars, boat rentals, fishing charters, annual triathlon, classic car show, antique boat show, fishing derbies including Spring Classic, Masters Walleye Circuit, Smallmouth Bass Derby, NYS B.A.S.S., & ABA Fishing Tournament. 

• 14 miles to Sackets Harbor, NY - quaint tourist village, historic battlefield site of War of 1812, many restaurants & bars, live comedy club from national circuit, petting zoo, kennel & animal hospital, host of annual hospice charity regatta,  weekly waterfront concerts, jazz festival, July 4th fireworks, host of annual "CANAM Festival" & "Firemen's Field Days" held in July.

• 15 miles to Adams, NY - town with nearest supermarket, gas/service station with diesel, restaurants, kennels & vets, & additional services.

• 24 miles to Watertown, NY - city with numerous major shopping chains & services, gas/service station with diesel, Salmon Run Mall, supermarkets, Fort Drum army base, hospital, kennels & vets, regional airport, many restaurant options, host of annual "Jefferson County Fair".

• 38 miles to Cape Vincent, NY - quaint village, host of annual "French Festival", annual 5k/10k run/walk, weekly concerts on village green, location of the Antique Boat Museum and the Handweaving Museum & Arts Center. 

• 39 miles to Clayton, NY - considered the "cultural center" of the 1000 Islands, with several unique museums & interesting sites, the entire downtown district is designated by the US Federal Registry as historic with buildings dating back to the 1800s, location of Clayton Opera House, annual "Decoy & Wildlife Art Show", dog show, & "Great NYS Food & Wine Festival", weekly waterfront concerts.

• 45 miles to Oswego, NY - home of SUNY Oswego and annual "Oswego Harborfest".

• 50 miles to Alexandria Bay, NY - the central location for many 1000 Islands tourist attractions including the 1000 Islands boat tour operators, weekly concerts in the park, winery, museums, host of annual "Thunder In The Bay - Powerboat Poker Run", "Bill Johnston's Pirate Days", Vintage Boat Shows, Antique Raceboat Regatta, jazz & blues festivals, July 4th fireworks at Boldt Castle.

• 50 miles to Fulton, NY - location of Thunder Island (family entertainment complex with water park).

• 58 miles to Sterling, NY - location of Renaissance Festival.

• 65 miles to Syracuse, NY - home of the annual "Great New York State Fair", numerous regional and national events at the Empire Expo Center, best shopping in Central New York including Carousel Mall, home of Syracuse University & Carrier Dome, IMAX theater, top symphony, dining, other commerce, major airport.

• 70 miles to Ganonoque, ON - location of casinos, Canadian side.
