Building Rentals The Conference Center, Black Catte, & Clubhouse can be reserved by the hour/day for rallies, group meetings, pot-luck dinners, and other special events, including banquets and weddings. Additional fees and conditions apply, so please call for information. The Conference Center The Conference Center (max 300 people) is available to rent by AIResort customers and by the local community. The building was called the Dining Hall in the GE days (see Island History). The Conference Center is a beautiful green building with the upscale look of a country club. There are fabulous water views from a wall of windows facing our GE Marina and Henderson Bay and from a large outdoor deck. The rental fees are contingent on the number of hours or number of people - please call for rates. There are no kitchen facilities yet, so catered events must hire an off-premises caterer and will have additional fees and conditions. Our Conference Center is ideal for rally functions, banquet dinners, dances, & weddings! Call today to book your event for 2008! The Holiday Rambler Region 1 Rally used the Conference Center for Bingo night, a banquet dinner & dancing to a live band, Sept '07. The Black Catte The Black Catte (max 99 people) will be available to rent by AIResort customers only. The Black Catte is ironically a red building. We're still calling it the same name as in the GE days (see Island History), but it does not look the same as the GE days; the building was completely renovated in 2004. The rental fee is $50/hour, with a minimum fee of $100. AIResort also plans to host several live band performances in the Black Catte - so be sure to check out the Events Schedule. The Clubhouse The Clubhouse TV room and outdoor deck (max 40 people) will be available to rent by AIResort customers only. The Clubhouse has bathroom (andshowers) facilities, laundry, toddlers playroom, ping-pong room, and TV lounge. The building was considered the medical center in the GE days; we completed a full renovation in June 2005. The rental fee is $50/hour, with a minimum fee of $100. You can rent the TV lounge, a small outdoor deck, and/or picnic areaoutside for small meetings and pot-luck functions. When not specifically rented for functions, the Clubhouse is open to all customers from 8 am to 10 pm. The bathroom facilities are open 24/7. The Clubhouse is normally a pale beige, but looks bright orange here due to a glowing sunset.
